This strategic partnership marks a significant step towards strengthening industry–academia collaboration and fostering innovation in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors.
The collaboration establishes a framework for joint research, technology development, and knowledge exchange across key areas, including pharmaceutical process chemistry, formulation science, analytical methodologies, artificial intelligence (AI), digital technologies, and software solutions for healthcare and pharmaceutical applications. By combining academic excellence with industry expertise, the partnership aims to accelerate the translation of research into scalable, real-world solutions that enhance product quality, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
As part of the agreement, DCAL and IIT Gandhinagar will work together on the development of AI-driven platforms, data analytics solutions, automation tools, and digital transformation initiatives to address emerging challenges in pharmaceutical manufacturing and healthcare technologies. The collaboration will also provide opportunities for joint research projects, skill development programmes, faculty and student engagement, internships, and collaborative problem-solving. In addition, DCAL will gain access to IIT Gandhinagar’s Central Instrumentation Facility and multidisciplinary academic expertise, further strengthening its innovation capabilities.
